The Michelangelo Tour
The Michelangelo Tour: Participate in a 15 day journey to Italy, the land of art and love. Walk in the footsteps of the Master Stone Cutter himself as you relive the tale of The Stone Cutter Genius. Stay in a Villa in Tuscany and roam the streets of Florence. Enter the Eternal City of Rome and marvel at the art, faith heritage and culture of Ancient days, medieval times and Renaissance art of the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s, the Roman Forum and much more. Sail into the Bay of Naples to the Isle of Capri and enter the Blue Grotto on tiny boats where you will see first hand where the miracle of the tale of THE STONE CUTTER GENIUS took place.

Day 1: Depart USA
Day 2: Arrive Florence, Italy Day at leisure Group Dinner
Day 3: Florence Breakfast Tour of Duomo, Santo Trinita, Shops on Ponte Vecchio and Public market Lunch on Piazza Signoria surrounded by the art of Donatello, Michelangelo and Palazzo Vecchio. Tour of Uffizi Gallery of Art. Evening Free
Day 4: Florence Breakfast Tour of Academy of Art where Michelangelo's Statue of David is displayed, Sante Croce and Michelangelo's tomb, and Casa Buonarroti and San Ambrogio where artist Francesco Granacci is buried. Afternoon excursion to Pisa. Dinner on own.
Day 5: Breakfast Depart Florence for Rome via Siena and Orvietto. Group dinner in Rome.
Day 6: Rome Breakfast Tour of Ancient Rome Forum, Colesseum, Baths of Caracalla, Appian Way, Altar of Pax Romana, Tomb of Augustus. Pantheon and lunch in Pantheon Piazza. Evening free to shop and lounge in one of the many Piazzas of the Eternal City.
Day 7: Rome Breakfast Tour of Christian Rome Catacombs, Santa Maria Magiore, San Giovanni Laterno, San Clemente, S. Maria in Aracoeli, S. Maria delgli Angeli, San Trinita at Spanish Steps, Lunch near Spanish steps. Tour of St. Paul's Outside the Walls and St. Bartholomew on Tiber Island. Evening Free
Day 8: Rome Breakfast. Tour of Medieval and Renaissance Rome Replica of Michelangelo's home, St. Peter in Chains, St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican City and Vatican Museum including Sistine Chapel and Raphael's Stanze. Evening Free.
Day 9: Breakfast. Depart Rome for Sorrento. Stop at Monte Cassino Tour of Pompeii Lunch in Pompeii Free time in Sorrento
Day 10: Depart by Ferry Boat for Capri Tour of Capri, Free time for lunch and shopping. Overnight in Sorrento
Day 11: Return to Capri Tour of Blue Grotto Free time for shopping and beaches Overnight in Sorrento
Day 12: Tour of Naples Overnight on Amalfi Coast
Day 13: Return to Rome Free day in Rome for final shopping and searching out great Gelato sites.
Day 14; Return to USA with memories and mementos of walking in the footsteps of Michelangelo, The Stone Cutter Genius
Lunch in Piazza Navona near Bernini's Four Rivers Fountain. Visit to Trevi Fountain. Rest of Afternoon and evening is free.
Day 15: Depart Rome for the USA with the Memories of the beauty, and serenity of Italy and the works of Michelangelo and centuries of history, art and natural wonders.
